New generation turning grade with high performance for P materials—YBC103/YBC203

YBC103: for heavy turning in unstable condition

YBC203: for heavy turning with interrupted cuts


Thick coating technology with fine-grained columnar structure Al2O3. It has outstanding high temperature performance and wear resistance, which effectively improve the tool life.


H2O2 gradient transition coating technology—With this technology, the spalling resistance of the coating has been improved. By using PCN technology, the coating particles are fine and dense, leading to superior high temperature performance and oxidation resistance of the insert.


Wholly new substrate—Alloy grain adjusting technology make the cubic phase grains finer and more evenly distributed which improve the high temperature performance of the cutter body. The change of the binder phase and the solid solution gradient coupling will improve the strength of the edge and plastic deformation resistance.

Working material: Cast steel

HRC: 40-44

Cutting tool:YBC103/SNMM250924-ZR

Cutting data: Vc=72/min,f=0.7mm/r, ap=18mm

Size of the work piece:diameter: 920mm,  length: 5-8m

Coolant: water coolant

Performance: The diameter of the roller is about 920mm,  the machine way is external turning, the working length of a single flute is as long as 1m, and the service life is about 61 minutes. The efficiency has been improved by 3 times as the grinding time for welding tool is saved.


Case 2

Working material: 4145H

HRC: 28-32

Cutting tool:YBC103/SNMM250724-ER

Cutting data: Vc=60/min,f=1.0mm/r, ap=10-15mm

Size of the work piece:diameter: 920mm,  length:5-8m

Coolant: dry cutting

Performance: Working length per flute is as long as 15m,which is better that the similar product of other company, and the cost has been reduced by 25%.

New substrate—The new cemented carbide matrix formula has high strength, high toughness and excellent wear resistance. The high cobalt content and the gradient layer with finely controlled thickness increase the safety of the tool during use.


The dioxygen gradient transition coating technology—It improves the stress state and interface state of the coating, reduces the stress concentration, and improves the binding strength of the coating and the substrate and the coating and the coating interface, which greatly increases the stability and safety of the tool.


Hyper fine gradient coating—Gradient bonded ultra-fine TM coating with high toughness and wear resistance.

Coolant: water coolant

Performance: The cylindrical surface work blank is machined into a tapered surface, and YB6315-ZR can finish 2 pieces.The service life is equal to the former one, and the cost is reduced by 20%.


Case 2

Working piece: wind power components

Working material:43CrMo

HRC:25-30

Cutting tool: YB6315/SNMM250924-HPR

Cutting data: Vc=120/min, f=0,9mm/r, ap=14-18mm

Coolant: dry cutting

Performance: Service life reach 80min per flute, the cost is reduced by 20%.
